Designing for a little girl

Little Khinley turned one a few weeks ago. We gave her the rocking chair and I totally forgot to blog about the shirt I made. After finishing the chair I decided to give her a few more treats for her 1st birthday.

Inspiration came from my Pinterest addiction. I have been pinning a bunch of DIY rosettes and birthday shirts.

Fabric flowers using Heather Bailey's Pop Garden Collection. I saved a few fabric scraps and this project was just perfect for it.

Here's her birthday shirt. I did a reverse applique technique for this project. She wore this shirt after smashing her cake.
